Induction loop systems are used to assist the hearing impaired by transmitting an audio signal from a sound system, microphone, television or other source, directly to a hearing aid equipped with a telecoil or ‘T’ position.
The big advantage is that this allows the sound to be heard by the hearing aid user without all the background noise that may exist within a room.
